Gamespot have previewed the upcoming Game of the Year version of Morrowind for the Xbox which integrates content from the two PC expansions. Here's a snippet: Though the inclusion of Bloodmoon and Tribunal is the obvious main attraction to Morrowind Game of the Year Edition, the additional inclusion of the patched changes to the PC version is arguably just as important. These tweaks fundamentally make Morrowind more playable, and they address some of the main criticisms leveled against the otherwise very well received game. For example, you now see enemies' health meters in combat, whereas in the original version of Morrowind, you had no way of knowing just how close you were to defeating a given foe. Even better than this, the journal has been reorganized by topic rather than by being placed in pure chronological order. Given the seemingly countless number of quests in the game, it was easy to lose track of what you committed yourself to doing--and for whom. Now it's much simpler to keep track of your quests. |
