Mythic Entertainment ('Dark Age of Camelot', 'Imperator Online') who picked up the rights to (continue to) develop 'Warhammer Online' at E3 (or that's when the announcement was made anyway) have revamped the official 'Warhammer Online' website. The site now no longer just shows the press release announcing the deal with Games Workshop but there's an all new and updated FAQ plus a press section, a job page and an opportunity to sign up for newsletters. Is this the same Warhammer MMORPG I have heard about in the past from another developer?
No. That game has ceased development and the developer has moved on to other projects. This will be a next-generation MMORPG that will serve as the standard bearer for both Mythic and Games Workshop. |
