Finally, BioWare has also posted an interview with Obsidian's 'Neverwinter Nights II' Lead Designer Ferret Baudoin.As a special treat for the opening of the official Neverwinter Nights II forums we have a particularly juicy interview with Ferret Baudoin, Obsidian Entertainment's Lead Designer on Neverwinter Nights II:
1. What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now developing NWN2?
Our current big challenge is that we are switching gears from pre-production to full production. The game plan is set, so we're deciding what systems go "online" at what point. Regardless of the production stage, however, the toolset is robust enough for us to make our levels and dialogues, and to set up our quests, although there may be multiple passes through some of the levels as new features are implemented and become available to us. There are a lot of industry veterans on our team and most projects go through this phase - we've got good plans in place to deal with it. |
