There is an interview with Travis McGeathy, community manager at VR-1, at Computer and Video Games. They are talking about the recently announced Lost Continents, an upcoming MMORPG from them. Here's proof they have been busy long before the announcement:
The official Lost Continents website is already full of information which suggests that the game has been in development for some time. When did you actually start work on it?
Travis: We've been working on Lost Continents for slightly more than a year and a half. We're currently well into the production phase of development and have created a robust suite of content creation tools, defined a solid set of basic systems and developed 90% of the areas to an animatic level (low level textures and placeholder objects so we can walk around the game world and finalize placement before investing in polish). You can already see some of the models and textures we'll be using on our website and you'll start seeing screenshots and additional models with every update. Over the next year, we'll be building the community and continuing to flesh out the content. I encourage everyone to participate in the community at this early stage because we will be listening to suggestions and ideas of the future players. |
