Counterglow.net has written a review of Warcraft 3. It is written by two people, no numerical rating is given and this positive conclusion offered:
You'll probably have noticed the contrast in our comments in the review! Somehow, with it's simplicity and flexibility, Warcraft III manages to be a game that, despite our differences, we both love. Multiplayer Warcraft III is the most fun I've had on a PC in a long time. Not since I was playing Half Life have I been this obsessed about a PC game. In the last few weeks it's gotten a little embarassing how many people have turned up at the house and I've had to say, "er... I'm just in the middle of a game of Warcraft...". The combination of simple to learn concepts combined with extremely deep strategy, tactics, and gameplay mean that this is one I'll be playing for a long time to come.
