Choosing one path isn't any easier or tougher than the other but they lead to remarkably different but balanced gameplay experiences. Dark Jedi tend to take the most direct aggressive route in everything they do and gain powers and abilities to that end but this only makes their experience different from the more tactful and disciplined heroic Jedis who're doing things for the greater good.
