DAoC: It gets dark in South Korea

    BUFF ENTERTAINMENT TO ESTABLISH LOCALIZED SERVERS IN SOUTH KOREA

    FAIRFAX, VA –FEBRUARY 5, 2002 – Mythic Entertainment (www.mythicentertainment.com), co-publisher of the award winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), Dark Age of Camelot™, has announced a publishing and online partnership with Buff Entertainment. Buff Entertainment will distribute the game within and establish localized servers and support services for South Korea. Dark Age of Camelot, the fastest selling pay-for-play MMORPG in the history of online gaming, was developed by Mythic Entertainment and co-published by Abandon Entertainment (www.abandonent.com).

    Dark Age of Camelot will be beta tested in South Korea this summer, and will be commercially launched in Fall 2002 with a monthly subscription fee. Buff Entertainment will handle online hosting and community management. Dark Age of Camelot will be translated into Korean, and customer support as well as community management will be handled in Korean to ensure the best support and quality of service.
