The Stoneborn include the stoic Burians, who excel as miners, metalworkers and brewers, and the Qwi, who are master tinkerers and builders. The combination has yielded many technological advances. Among the Ilvari, the ethereal Mistfolk are dedicated to magic and its secrets, while the Earthfolk focus on nature. The feline Suwari were once the former's pets. They too follow dual beliefs, the fastidious Domesticates being city dwellers whereas the Ferals embrace the wilderness. The original Old Blood Humans are stalwart and sturdy, while the Togs, who are easily distinguished by their greenish skin, are usually slightly taller and even bulkier.

Hero's Journey is a fantasy persistent state world being developed by one of the pioneers in the category, Simutronics. It takes place in the world of Elanthia, where a savage war has shattered entire societies.
