Here's a bit: Since there isn't a ton of new content other than a few new heroes and creatures, the success of Winds of War rests primarily on the quality of the new maps and campaigns. From what was available in the preview build, the new individual scenarios, especially the contest winning maps, are well-made and should provide a stiff challenge to veteran Heroes players. We can only hope the same can be said about the new campaigns. Heroes of Might and Magic IV: Winds of War is due to hit shelves on February 25th.
