(This newsbit should be invisible for EA *g*) Sturmwolf.de has conducted an interview with Jaakko Peltonen, project leader and lead programmer/artist for Ultima IV: The Dawn of Virtue, and the dialogue writer Laura Campbell, as well as Ewan Munro, in-game writing. They talk about this isometric remake of Ultima 4, why the demo has been postponed so long and the (still unresolved) legal status with EA. Here's a bit:
What part of the game are you currently working on?

[Jaakko Peltonen]: I am currently working on making some more spells, creating some more portraits for the game characters. There is also some postprocessing work on the landscapes - adding fallen leaves under trees, soot onto chimneys and other small details. I'm also testing, testing, testing. :)

[Laura Campbell]: I'm working on some spell definitions and a few minor dialogue corrections provided by the Uber-Editor Tailrace Dragon. :)
