According to the Guild Wars site, the PvP Extreme weekend has begun:
At the midnight hour (PDT), the PvP Extreme Weekend Event kicked off with a roar. All players logging into Guild Wars through 11:59 PDT Sunday night will experience dozens of updated skills and significantly increased Faction rewards. Join us!
