1) Sony Online Entertainment / Verant have updated the official website of their upcoming Star Wars MMORPG by adding a new 360° animation to the screenshot section. It shows a male Trandoshan as seen from all sides.

2) Kevin "Q-3PO" O´Hara, Community Relations Manager, has posted an update plan to the official boards. Very interesting stuff. Here´s what we can expect from the SWG team this summer:

So in a nutshell, here it is:

    * FAQ and Poll every Friday (as per usual, sometimes the FAQ will be new and informative, sometime it will sum up dev posts from that week)

    * Team Comments every other Monday (as per usual)

    * 360° Screenshot featuring a player species every second and four Thursday through September (on the Screenshot page. This first one is up today!)

    * Contest every month (details coming soon)

    * Monthly Newsletter (check "My Profile" to make sure you are signed up for it)

    * Quicktime movie using footage from the E3 demo on July 18th (probably 20-30 seconds in length)

3) Raph "Holocron" Koster, Creative Director, has written a lenghty post or err.. might as well call it essay on socializing in SWG. This one is highly recommended to any true MMORPGer.

4) Last one for today comes from Holocron as well and deals with the minimum system specs. Since SWG is still at least a year away from release Holocron refused to go into detail but said that he expects to upgrade his video card to a card with T&L (Transform & Lighting) support. He didn´t talk about a CPU upgrade. His current one runs at 700MHz. So I gather it would be a fair bet to say it will run on a 700MHz system with a T&L card.
