Here's a bit: At the present time, development has reached a stage the studio calls stress testing. Although many players refer to it as a beta, this phase will actually begin in the relatively near future. A precise date has yet to be announced, but it is known that the plan includes ramping up gradually to as many as 100,000 participants before launch. Since it seems likely that the opening of beta isn't too far off, the level of interest within the player community is growing rapidly, aided and abetted by many favorable reports from the recent E3 show as well as Westwood's own Space Camp event a few weeks earlier.
