A Hotrizons interview at HomeLan talks to Casey Robinson and Ryan Mitchell about their work on this upcoming MMORPG. As always, we serve a little bit to wet your mouth:
HomeLAN - What can you tell us about a typical day at the office for both of you?

Casey Robinson - I wake up and arrive at work in the same 15-minute period. Check my mail to see what major changes have happened over night. Grab latest files, generally 200 new assets each day and even more updated. Check with Ryan to see what is he is working on so I know what is broken and what I should avoid. Figure out what I can work on and get started on that. From here on out its generally just reporting anything funky to Ryan so he can put it on his list of things to check out. I have a basic list of things to fall back on that I can work on if I don't have something specific to work on.

Ryan Mitchell - My day starts around 9:30-10:00 here as I walk in the door and fill my vat of coffee to start the day. I then get right to work on the tasks listed on my wall of doom. I have a huge white board posted with items on my list. As items are needed I add them anybody can look and know exactly where I stand. The rest of the day is working with sporadic meetings on issues at hand. I then usually get home between midnight and 2:00am depending on the work needed. I have been doing this for the last three months with about an all-nighter a week (except for this week =) ). The reason for this was my late entry into the project and my achievable but lofty goals for the systems.
