A new preview of Neverwinter Nights has been posted at GamersPulse. Here's a bit from that one:
am already pretty in love with the gameplay in NWN, after only about 45 minutes. Combining the best elements of the action RPGs such as Diablo and Dungeon Siege (that being the excitement and action) with the best elements of the Baldur's Gate series creates a game with a much more in depth story and D&D feel, yet with fast paced exciting combat. As a mage, I routinely found myself casting nasty spells at the bad guys (though I tried to save them for when I really needed them), and then running for cover behind the tougher members of my party. Since the play focuses on multiplayer, pausing in combat like in the BGs has been eliminated, meaning everything is quick and deadly. I launch one of Melf's Acid Arrow spells, and then duck behind the dwarf with the flaming sword as he moves in for the kill-very exciting.
