The second Lethal Dreams dev report has been published at RPGVault. This time, Project Director Alexey Alexeev talks about how the concept evolved:
Originally, we also wanted to satisfy the needs of item lovers, artifact hunters and other insatiable people. But hunger is one thing and reality is another: Lethal Dreams: The Circle of Fate is a battle of mages and not shamans that are packed with trinkets or warriors that are decorated with hundreds of medallions. There are only basic essences of the three life forms - Ethereal, Teriomorphs and Shining Ones. You acquire them by diplomacy or fighting, then use them for your own good, to summon ancient forms. So, you can forget about combat with spiked soapboxes or invisible diving suits and spend your resources for the required skills - you will need them.
