Here are the Live Notes for Wednesday's patch:

* Fixed an issue with queued attacks not reporting damage as it was inflicted
* Fixed a problem that caused certain clients to hang during server login
* Gifts of appreciation have been added to the game world
* Added an Icon to the Artillerist Discipline
* "Lore" NPCs are much more chatty now

Gifts of appreciation will show up as a gift box in a character's bank account. This gift box can be placed in your inventory and "used" (either by double-clicking it or by the "Use" method on the context window).

Once used, it will turn into a ring inside the inventory. This ring will have a special power attached to it. To use this power, the ring must first be equipped. Once equipped, the power will show up in the Powers Menu. Please note that when the ring is unequipped, the power cannot be used.

Furthermore, only accounts purchased prior to May 4th, 2004 will be eligible for a gift of appreciation. This does not include Free Trial Accounts.
