The second review at Gamer's Depot today is Pirates of the Caribbean. It scores a sea-worthy 3.5/5 drips and here's a snip:
In sea battles, ships will attack you depending upon your current relations with the European factions in question. Once in battle mode, you have the option to fight from a third-person perspective and rely nothing but your ship mates gunnery skills or players can switch to a first-person perspective from the very deck of the vessel. The first-person not only allows you to use the spyglass that you bought to scope out hostile vessels location and you can fire your cannons manually if you find that your gunnery skills is much better than your shipmates and as long as you note that cannons will fire in an arc and will take forever to reload. Outside of that, sea battles aren’t always fun to watch as your sails get torn up your ship catches fire and such. Controlling the ship itself can sometimes be nerve-wracking due to the fast that ships really can’t turn fast! So if you get caught face to face with a ship and need to turn around so that your side (where your big guns are) faces your enemy, it make take a minute or two when used in combination with the three sailing settings.
The last few paragraphs of the review are missing and part of a Black Hawk Down review has been inserted, so check back when it's fixed if you'd like to read the full article.
