The next site to have a review of Troika's 'Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines' is Warcry who awarded the game a score of 8.5/10.
"Your body is dying. Pay no attention. Happens to us all." – Lestat “Interview with the Vampire.” That is the best advice I could give anyone playing this game. Starting out as a weak childe and at the bottom of the food chain, literally, you have no idea what you are or what evil being you will become.

Developed by Troika, Vampire: The Masquerade® – Bloodlines™ is Activision’s second role-playing game derived from White Wolf’s Vampire: The Masquerade world. Powered by Source, Valve’s next-generation engine technology, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines delivers a unique and new type of RPG experience. This is the first RPG ever to use next-generation, first-person-shooter technology, and the end result is a much more interactive and immersive experience. A first-person-shooter, role-playing game? Is this really possible? Activision and Troika say, “yes,” and, boy, were they right!
