A rating of 4.5/5 is the result of GamerDad's 'Freedom Force vs The Third Reich' review.
PC game fans and developers are interesting. Orcs, elves, wizards, post-apocalyptic warriors, aliens, and Nazis are all fair game. But superheroes? For some reason the prevailing thought seems to be that spandex and superpowers are too geeky, too childish for fans of Hobbits and Mutants. That's why you couldn't write a review of Irrational Games' excellent Freedom Force a few years back without mentioning the supposed "comic book curse." An evil force that seemed destined to forever keep gamers and superheroes apart. The "curse" seems pretty weak these days, what with the success of City of Heroes, the films Spider-Man 2 and The Incredibles, and now the return of Freedom Force in Irrational Games' excellent new game Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich, now on store shelves.
