Whenever I’m told there is a new real-time strategy game that needs to get reviewed or previewed, my first reaction is normally one of frustration: “yet another RTS?” Don’t get me wrong, there are some fun and addictive strategy titles out there, but the genre is full of clones with frustrating unit and resource micromanagement laden with repetitive click-click gameplay. Every once in a while, a title comes along in the genre that turns heads, the exception to the rule that provides a refreshing change of pace. Celtic Kings: Rage of War, was one of those titles forgoing many of the monotonous elements of typical real-time strategy titles. A good title definitely deserves a sequel. Thankfully, Haemimont Games thought the same way; and is ready to release a sequel entitled Nemesis of the Roman Empire.
