Black Isle's Planescape: Torment has stormed up Gamespy's Most Underrated chart to land in 9th place. Here's a snip:
In addition to the story and setting, the game also sports mind-blowing spell effects, an innovative level progression scheme, incredibly well-written dialogue, and some of weirdest party members ever seen, including a succubus who has given up sex, an animated suit of armor, a cube, and a man on fire. Somehow it all managed to work, giving those players who purchased it an RPG experience they would never forget.
