Reaching the Oasis itself is not without danger. Adventurers must leave behind Thesos (the town nearest the Oasis) and traverse the Scorched Corridor, a barren land crawling with hostile foes. Not only must one defend against the occasional Gingo attack, but flying Kipesta and treacherous Timari lie in the path to the sacred land. Humanoid denizens of the Scorched Corridor are highly protective of the Oasis, and remain vigilant against outsiders.
