Dated graphics bvut better roleplaying than those other MMO"r"PGs. Not a hack-and-slash dungeon game with chat added in. You need to hone something called people skills in order to advance. |

graphics/coding stuff is minimal but RPG is in a class all its own. No other on the net touches it. 4 years playing and still going.. If you want a brain challenge and not a hand/eye coordination enhancer, try UL. |

I usualy don't do these cheezy advertisement, but for this role playing game its whorth it. Ever wondered what youve been missing from the other big name "role playing game" yea i know whats missing its the darn role playing.
I left Underlight to go play Everquest and then Asherons Call then Anarchy Online, and AFTER THAT i played Dark age of Camelot. And i returned to Underlight.
Why do you think this happen? Because there is no respect in the other games, they don't respect you then they don't care about you or any other players that might be trying to role play.
Underlight is the place to learn honor, respect and all that good stuff. Personnaly everyone that plays EQ or AC or DaoC or AO shoudl least play Underlight for the first month which is a free trial. To experience the richness of the enviroment. But that is my opinion, don't take my word for it you come along and try it and you will see.

This is truly a game that puts the role play into role playing games. Let me put it this way, if you hate the following things:
-733+ D3wdz wh0 w@n+ n0+h1ng bu+ []Dh@+ l3w+z
-Sports scores clogging your chat screen
-KS'ing grief players
-12 year old children thinking that because they use big people words, that they are actually big people.
-Corpse runs
-Group Begging
-Being confined to either NO pvp, or too MUCH pvp. Or just meaningless PK.

The only true RP game for true RP'ers. I would rate it an 11, but its not an option :)
For anyone who has not played : UL is completely run by the characters, NO NPC's, and this in itself makes you a part of the "BIG picture" so to speak. I'm completely addicted :) |

Excellent for those who are sick of the hack-and-slash, fed-ex style of many of today's RPGs, but it has a rather steep learning curve, and eliminates the harried-loner type of player by pretty much forcing player interaction |

Been playing for 6 years on and off...was gone for a few years, and came back the first chance I got..it is great, you decide where your character goes, and you work to get there. You have to interact with others, and you never know from day to day, hour to hour what is going to happen in the game..It Rawks! |

I have been playing Underlight for 2 years now. It's a very dynamic and interesting game. The graphics leave much to be desired for, but it interaction truely beats out the competition. And the people that run this game, the client, and the company behind it are all volunteers who love roleplaying. That's dedication. |
