Another preview of Enlight's action-RPG/strategy hybrid 'Joan of Arc' can be found at Gamer's Pulse today.
In today’s market, there are a myriad of third-person action titles available, but only a handful manage to garner mass appeal. So what can a developer do in order to make sure that their particular game gets the recognition they hope for? For starters, it helps to deviate from science-fiction alien worlds and futuristic industrial metropolises in favor of sprawling chateaus and military settlements of medieval France. Enlightening the third-person action genre, Joan of Arc: Wars and Warriors places you in the role of legendary teenager Joan of Arc during the time of the Hundred Years’ War. You must lead Joan, along with her small band of loyal troops, in a bloody war against the English attempting to exact their claim to the French throne. With its historically inspired premise, role-playing-like experience system, and cross-genre gameplay, Joan of Arc looks to enlighten PC gamers on third-person action early next year.
