MMORPG.it has an interview with Řivind Scharning, Funcom's Quality Assurance Manager, about Anarchy Online and the upcoming booster pack Notum Wars. Here's an excerpt:
Q8: For U whats are the strong points of Ao? Why a person must buy Ao?
A8: For me, the strongest points in AO are the large variety. You can custom make your character to a very large degree, and all different combinations of professions and breeds is possible to play. In addition, there are tons of items that make character development very interesting. The entire atmosphere of the game is also very special, and while doing my job I often find myself struck by the beauty of the game. With the Booster Pack there will be a whole new attraction as well, and I do believe that the new land control system is the best around.
Q9: Cheaters and Ao: how do you resolve this problem? Are there a lot of cheaters?
A9: As in all games of such a size, there will from time to time appear loopholes, or exploits. As of today we don t have any known exploits in Anarchy Online, they are being fixed as soon as one appears so today this is not a large problem. When a person is caught doing something considered illegal in the game, we always take action against the player. In the outmost consequence, we ban his account.
