The official Horizons site has several updates for adventurers in Istaria. First up is the news of some forum consolidation.
Today we will start consolidating some of the forums. As many of you are aware, many of the school sub-forums, race forums, etc are widely under-used and simply confuse folks. We will be combining them into more general sections that will hopefully be much more useful to folks. If you have any comments or suggestions or feedback, please post here.
Next are the latest Blight shard patch notes.
The following additions, changes and fixes were applied to Blight on Monday, April 24, 2006:

* Bronze Salvage Awl no longer requires Tinkering to equip.
* Ulaven the Mage Trainer now offers nine quests for mages level 1 to 10.
* Replies from NPCs in quests will now properly come from the NPC you are speaking with, not some other random NPC.
And last, but certainly not least, the first edition of Chaos Reigns.
Welcome to Chaos Reigns!, the latest incarnation of the Chaos Herald report. We hope you enjoy our offerings. If there’s something you’d like to see in our report, or information you’d like to share, please give us a shout, in game or on the forums.

Blight extends well to the north, almost to Harro, and the entire region bears the disturbing designation “Staging Grounds”.
