SHADOWBANE PRE-ORDER DISC SHIPS
First-ever restricted race program provides Minotaurs, Centaurs, Aracroix and other items provided to fans who pre-order
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - August 28, 2002 -- Ubi Soft and ubi.com, the publishers of Shadowbane, today announced the first-ever limited edition Shadowbane pre-order box has shipped to Electronics Boutique, Gamestop and CompUSA stores everywhere. Shadowbane is the highly-anticipated, fantasy-based massively multiplayer online (MMO) game scheduled for release this November. The pre-sell box contains a code to unlock three restricted races in the final version of Shadowbane and retails for $10.00 suggested retail price, which will be credited back to customers when they purchase the final version of Shadowbane.
Shadowbane's pre-order races are a bonus to players who want to pre-order the game and immediately explore the Shadowbane world as a Minotaur, Centaur or Aracroix. The races will be unlocked each month after its November launch for all players. The restricted races are no more powerful than any of Shadowbane's other seven races. All of Shadowbane's races have unique abilities, and the restricted races, like all of Shadowbane's 10 races, will benefit from more than 20 character promotion classes to create a unique combination of professions, classes, skills and fighting styles.

A one-time-use promotional code to unlock three Shadowbane Restricted Races: Minotaur, Aracroix, and Centaur.
Customers who pre-order Shadowbane online at EBworld.com, Gamefixx.com and Gamestop.com will only receive the code for the restricted races through those respective online retailers. Additionally, Mac gamers will be able to pre-order Shadowbane from Apple.com/games, where they will receive a promotional code to unlock the restricted races.
