Over the years we’ve seen some major advances in the so called Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game genre. As it has matured and the stakes for securing our subscription money have become ever higher, we’ve seen the genre branched out to encompass more action-oriented, community-focused and even story-driven experiences. Everquest II takes its place quite comfortably as the sequel to perhaps the biggest name in MMORPGs of them all, and makes some much needed improvements to the story-driven experience in the process.
