Still at Tech TV is a review of Knightshift with a score of 3/5:
We can't tell you how many times we've been asked this at "X-Play."

"When are we going to see a Polish subsidiary of a German development house release a combination real-time strategy/RPG game where the unit of commerce is cow's milk?"

Despair no more. "Once Upon a Knight" the renamed-for-America version of Reality Pump Studio's "Knight Shift," has hit the ground running with a competent mix of accessible gameplay and a quirky setting. Aside from an incomprehensible story and the aforementioned bovine economy, "OUaK" is mostly a mix of gaming ideas already out there (many of them done better than here). It does manage, however, to be enjoyable enough in its own way to warrant a serious look.
