Massive Multiplayer Online has conducted an interview with Mind Ark´s Patric Sundstrom on the company´s upcoming MMORPG Project Entropia. Additionally, there are a few new screenshots to be found inside.

Here´s the opening question (+ answer):


    * Greetings Patric. Project Entropia is beginning to garner a lot of media attention as of late, but some readers still may not know much about the game. For those viewers could you give them a quick idea of what Project Entropia is, and what sets it apart from other MMORPG´s.

    We consider Project Entropia to be a new form of Internet-based interactive entertainment wherein millions of people around the world will be able to live virtual lives. For gamers, probably the simplest way to describe it is to say it´s persistent online world, although that´s really only part of our complete concept. The setting is in the future on the distant planet Calypso where the colonists can engage in a wide variety of activities ranging from exploration and combat to crafting, commerce, socializing, etc.

    There are quite a few things that set Project Entropia apart. A major one is the scale we are aiming at, which is ultimately to have millions of people participating in our world. Another is our revenue model, which has aroused a great deal of curiosity since it involves no charge for the client software, no monthly subscription fees, and the possibility of making money or even making a living...
