While weapons play the same role as in traditional fantasy RPGs, so-called Bioware (genetically enhanced organs) and Cyberware (cybernetic implants) replace most external equipment. For example, stronger muscles can increase your strength, and skill software can replace your real knowledge of a certain skill with synthetic knowledge. Stay natural or replace your body piece by piece, either biologic or cybernetic - it's your choice!
