Gamespy has an interview with Vircom's Humberto Valencia about Black Moon Chronicles. Here you go with a question about skills:
GameSpyDaily: There is an intentional lack of trade skills like many of the other MMORPGs. Black Moon obviously focuses on fighting for whatever faction you sign up with in the beginning. What are some of the activities that players can do to pass the time besides fighting?
Fuerza: It is true that fighting is an important part of the game. However, there are other activities to do in the Land of Lhynn. Game masters will create events for all factions and classes; some of them will involve all four factions, while other events will be reserved for specific groups of players. Just as an example, there has already been a wedding in our Closed beta!
Even exploring the world map will keep players busy. There are lots of interesting cities to visit, whether you are with the Priesthood of the Black Moon or with the Alliance. In addition to this, players will be offered many non-combat quests.
As far as trading goes, we are actually evaluating different options that we will implement before the game's released. |
