The developers of Anarchy Online (AO), Funcom recently released the expansion pack, “Shadowlands”, once again displaying the detail implemented to make a challenging game, yet offer an entrancing experience within the online RPG realm. With Shadowlands, the graphics have been enhanced, 20 new play fields have been added, including the floating city of Jobe. Hundreds of new AI-enhanced monsters have also been added. This amount of additional content provided is enough to even consider this expansion as a standalone product. In fact, it is just that with the base of Anarchy Online and its previous expansion pack, “Notum Wars” all included within.
