Khabal Gaming has written a review of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (PS2). Their rating is 7.5/10, and their summary is quite positive:
So personally, what do I think of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance? I would first shake you a lot then say "BUY THE GAME IF YOU HAVE A PS2!" Jumping puzzles and weird shadows aside, it's a pretty good deal considering the fact I was completely hooked on it, and I'd bet you would be too if you gave the thing a try.

Dark Alliance supports 2 players as well, so you could round up your beer buddies and have a blast chopping at kobolds, thieves, beholders, weirdos, etc. As for multiplayer, the only option available is co-op; which means you can't have a blast chopping up your buddy. Another unique feature in the multiplayer mode is that you can only choose one of each character (meaning you can't have 2 female elven sorceresses running around.)

One of the defining moments of course would be watching Drizzt get pummeled to death by kobolds while I watched on in glee and drank my large cup of cola. Of Course that moment probably doesn't really mean anything to you. But hey, I don't really like Drizzt much and watching him crumple to his knees simply brings a smile to my ebony face.
