HomeLAN Fed's John Callaham has penned an article discussing why 'City of Heroes' is the best-selling PC title around at the moment:
So why is it that I and so many, many others are trying out a new MMORPG called City of Heroes? Why has Cryptic Studios’super hero themed game seemed to have succeeded when so many others have failed? On the surface, the game doesn’t have as much depth as other games of its caliber; no crafting, no player vs player combat (yet), no real player owned property except your characters and enhancements….and yet the game is selling like hotcakes and gaining more and more converts every day.
