A rating of 9.2/10 clearly tells that they fell in love with the game, and so does their last paragraph: This is the finest game in the Heroes of Might & Magic series to date. This has never been a franchise that has pursued state of the art graphics, or massive popular appeal, but has won favour regardless. In spite, or perhaps because, of these limitations, the full spectrum of fantasy tactics has been realised in a format that any PC user can afford. One need not own the latest hardware, or skulk around the local Games Workshop spending every last penny on lead miniatures, for Heroes IV is the last word in fantasy tactics on the PC.
