Their summary reflects the positive feeling they (like so many other sites) had about the game: All in all, Freedom Force turned out to be one of the best titles I’ve had the chance to play this year. Its unique take on an RTS/RPG title, with its inherent Comic Book theme made it something of a unique and enthralling game to play. Though there were some faults in the core gameplay design, an overwhelming number of positive elements overshadowed them by far.
