Not the graphic of AC, not the freedom of UO

Nietchse has rated 9/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Nietchse)

Large world-TONS of content-lots of action for a mmorpg-some balance issues but overall an extremely fun game.

Tempered has rated 9/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Tempered)

This is the first serious attempt at world creation to date. The vastness of the terrain is unbeleivable. The skill and combat system is still the best of any mmorpg. The world altering events are still the best of any mmorpg.

Solid game, enjoyable for the first month or two but gets old quickly after that. The rules of the game are not well enough upheld to make for intriguing player vs player play.

Star Scream has rated 4/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Star Scream)

I somewhat enjoyed this game until I realised that nobody on it actualy roleplayed consistantly. When I guy blurted out, "damn, my toster just caught fire. lol" I lost interest. However, props to Microsoft for the dept they put into this game. Thats the only reason it doesnt get a 1.In my oppinion, its not a online RPG. Then again, I only know of one game thus far that I consider an online RPG. If anyone out there knows of a game, other then underlight, that is actualy an online RPG, please e-mail me. sheesh..

Yoshiaki-san has rated 7/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Yoshiaki-san)

Awesome game play...Likeable Lore. Geared towards Solo-play. very poor ingame support. No accoutability by turbine for ANY "lost" items when turbine screws up.

Cel has rated 7/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Cel)

Enjoyable game, fun and a lot to see and do. Ruined by poor support in some circumstnaces, aswell as xp chains and cheat progrmas.

top game, a little dated now though. Game is big enough to keep interst even at high levels, and a nice patron/vassel system.

Gig has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Gig)

One of the only games that played exactly as it was hyped, a non-stop free-for-all from end to linear end, nothing more, nothing less. I can't justify taking points away for lack of features that DS never claimed to have. The game was amazingly fun once you became accustomed to the pace, which was frantic to say the least! Dungeon Siege definately gets kudos for great and seamless performance with cutting edge graphics! Other game devs could stand to read a page out of that book!

Jacko has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Jacko)

One of the few MMORPGs that works on many levels. For those that want to create a PK world full of clans and PK power structures, the darktide server is the best PK server of all MMORPGs. The lore in Asheron's Call beats all MMORPGs. Some people play just to collect ancient artifacts and documents in the game. One of the few with an interesting continuing story and even the developers get in on the action and control enemies. Good character development system which lets you concentrate on anything you'd like.

Between the large world with massive content and the great community I had a grand time.

Waveslayer has rated 4/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Waveslayer)

out dated graphics ,to simple to be good and lots of cheaters

Dalton has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Dalton)

not a bad game

Shangrila has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Shangrila)

I had some truly awesome, all night gaming sessions on AC. Met some remarkable people. Truly felt like part of a community. Unfortunately the hackers ruined the PVP aspect, but before they hacked my heart never slowed for a second...:)

Dukkha has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Dukkha)

The best mmorpg in the market. Loved it, and I regret I quitted playing (my friends wanted to test out some new games instead)

Ardarga has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Ardarga)

An entirely immersive world, featuring a wide array of monsters and quests and a friendly gaming community. The teamplay aspects of the game are top notch, as is the constant development, leading to unique items and quests. A huge landscape gives this game unlimited playability, and with new islands i just havn't put this game down for over a year.

Alannah has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Alannah)

3 years and I haven't found a reason to leave yet because every month I get a new reason to play.

AC rocks, everyone should play it

Anck has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Anck)

Asheron's Call is the game I have been playing for almost 4 years now. No other game has ever held my fascination for long and I very much doubt that another like it will come along any time soon. I'm quite willing to wait, considering just how much the world changes ever patch.

Excellent game, but you picked the WORST SCREENSHOTS IMAGINABLE.

Deathtrain has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Deathtrain)

Good to see that Turbine is continuing to work on the AC1 world and add talent to the dev team.

interesting, but the "no comment" wasn't helpful to the rating or the players. This rating is for the interview, not the game.

AC is the only MMORPG to date that has had partial success in keeping the RPG with the MMO. ;-) Borrowing from many popular stand-alone RPGs, you can find ancient text everywhere and in the game's best years, there was a large fan fiction community. History plays a large part of the AC universe and the monthly updates were always a great contribution with the tides of battle constantly changing. I saw cities blown to craters, uber bad guys controlled by Turbine (the game's programmers) walk into cities to cause havoc, seasonal events to reflect the holidays, fantastic dungeon designs that put MMORPG competitors to shame -- this game has to be one of the most underrated MMORPGs ever, especially considering it never gained the same community size UO and EQ did. AC2 looks to be a financial failure and AC1 probably doesn't have the community it once did but for those of us that played AC1 in its best days, it was truly a unique gaming experience.
