Dragon Empires from Codemasters has been previewed at PC.IGN. Here's a snibblet:
With all the MMOs coming out this year and next, it can be difficult to sift through the information and find which one would best suit you. Every one of them has a specific appeal--World of Warcraft has a nice art design and a deep quest system. City of Heroes puts you in the leotards of crime-fighting, super-powered guys and gals. If I had to choose any one element of Dragon Empires, which is set to launch late this year, it would be the trade system. Every player starts out with their own workshop, staffed by a versatile artisan who'll need you to gather or trade for supplies to make stuff that you then turn around and sell in the player-driven economy. Once he's made his stuff, you can set what price to sell it at, and how much to pay for how many resources he'll need for another batch.
