RPGVault has brought up a Mimesis Online Developer Profile. It's basically an interview with Artur Jaskólski from Tannhauser Gate, and it's more about the person than the game. Take a look:
Jonric: What are your major functions and responsibilities?
Artur Jaskólski: I'm responsible for the day-to-day running of the studio, and for co-ordinating work on the technical aspects of the game.
Jonric: What's your background as a gamer? Have you been playing computer games for a long time, and do you play other types as well?
Artur Jaskólski: I've been playing computer games for years. I only got into pen-and-paper RPGs recently - not for lack of earlier interest, I just hadn't had the opportunity before - but above all I'd classify myself as a computer gamer.
Jonric: When and how did you originally become interested in games?
Artur Jaskólski: It was so long ago that I can hardly remember when it was... Seriously though, my first contact with computers was at friends' houses - first on 8-bit computers, then on Amigas. Then I finally got my first personal computer and that's when the madness began in earnest. :-) |
