Posted by Moriendor @ Monday - June 30, 2003 - 20:11 - Top | Game Info | Homepage GameSpyDaily reports that they've found out via this Reuters story at Yahoo that Blizzard North has suffered some departures of key personell today. Looks like co-founders, Erich Schaefer & Max Schaefer, David Brevik and Bill Roper are all leaving the company "to pursue other opportunities". Blizzard apparently said "it did not expect the group's departures to have any effect on properties in development". (*cough*) This move quite obviously comes in conjunction with the anticipated sale of Vivendi Universal's game division. The report further states that Luc Vanhal, President of VU Games North America, said earlier last month that "It would not be true to deny it's (Ed.: Sale of VU Games) affecting the staff.".
