RPGDot and Silver Style Entertainment bring you the amazing opportunity to be in 'The Fall - Last Days of Gaia' - and we mean in 'The Fall'!

Each week over 10 weeks we'll have a task related to 'The Fall'. Complete the task and send your entry to the address provided below for a chance to win.

And the cool bit?

Each weekly winner will be incorporated into 'The Fall'! You'll get to submit a photo and choose a type of NPC (see the choices below). Silver Style will name a NPC after you and your photo will be worked into a texture by their artists and applied to that character.

The Last Task

For this last week we have a creative task:

Wasteland Newscast

While travelling through the wastelands, Chip stumbled over what was an abandoned radio station. Fascinated at first, it turned into a major project for him. After months of work he finally got the equipment fixed and the station functional again. Ever since then Chip has been broadcasting the latest news and stories he can get hold of. He doesn't know if there's actually anyone out there listening, but he keeps sending nonetheless.

Your task for this week is to write down your idea of what one of these newscasts might be like. Come up with a few headlines and stories Chip may have encountered and is reporting. Keep it scandalous, entertaining, and post-apocalyptic. Style-wise it should be similar to the local news a radio station of your choice is airing. Not more than 200 words!

The most entertaining and in-character entry will win this round. We'll publish this last winner along with five outstanding entries next week.

Make sure your email complies with the rules below and includes:

  • A valid return address
  • Your entry for this week
  • Your real name
  • Your chosen character name or nick
  • Choice of NPC category and sex

    Rules and Conditions

    Entries must be received by the specified date and include all the required elements. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

    You may chose from the following NPC categories (male or female): Wasteland Warrior, Trader, Child, Hermit or Civilian.

    There is a limit of 20 characters in total for the name. You may use your real name or a suitable nick (see below). It doesn't matter if it's one large nickname ("Carl-Herbert") or contains a first and a last name ("Peter Smith") as long as its 20 characters or less.

    The character name must be deemed appropriate for the game. "MaStAKillAh_2004", "Gandalf" or "Laaneal Elf Maiden" won't be accepted. In the event that the chosen name already exists in the game, winners will be given an opportunity to make another choice.

    The name and photograph must not violate any copyrights or trademarks. If a winner chooses to submit the photo or someone else, e.g. child, wife/husband, a friend etc., it should not be done without his/her permission.

    The judge's decision on the winner is final. Silver Style Entertainment retains the absolute and final right to refuse any name or photo they deem inappropriate or unsuitable. Remember, folks, this is their livelihood.
