PSC Nation has reviewed Fallout: BoS with the score falling in around the average mark for this game at 6/10:For those of you who know nothing about Fallout (what, were you born under a rock?), the original game, debuting sometime during the mid-90's on PC, was a turn-based action game set in the not-too-distant future after the great nuclear war, turning the earth into a barren wasteland. It caught on quickly with many gamers because of its use of intense profanity, violence, and the type of witty humor that would make an old lady cry. Shortly there-after, fans were given a second helping of the mayhem with Black Isle Studios' follow up, Fallout 2, which was basically the same game, but with more blood, profanity, sex, drugs, and humor. Brotherhood of Steel retains the same spirit of its predecessors (though slightly toned-down), but offers a whole new gameplay experience altogether. That's not quite how I remember Fallout. |
