HomeLan has conducted an interview with Sony Online executive producer Rod Humble about the upcoming Everquest Online Adventure for PS2. This one caught my attention:
HomeLAN - How "big" will the online world of the game be and what specific locations will be available?
Rod Humble - It's big :) Tunaria is 22 km by 18 km Our beta testers couldnt beleive how huge the place was. There are so many places of interest its impossible to go through them all here. For fans of the EQ mythos they will be pleased to hear that they get to see Takish`hiz the ancient elvish city now gutted by the Teirdal. There are of course many dungeons, villages, towns, castles and other fantastical places awaiting discovery!
HomeLAN - How will quests be handled in the game?
Rod Humble - Quests are the backbone of the product. Obviously this is a PS2 title so the quest system is very easy to use. Quests really guide you through the game, many class abilities are only obtainable via quests starting at an early level. |
