Head over to HomeLAN Fed for an interview with Autumn Moon Entertainment about their upcoming game, 'A Vampyre Story':
HomeLAN - How did the idea for A Vampyre Story come about?

Mike Kirchoff - A Vampyre Story started out as a bunch of rough character drawings in a sketchbook. Originally it was planned as maybe a TV show or even a comic book. But the idea of doing an adventure game about a woman who doesn’t want to be a vampire seemed like it would work really well as an adventure game. Plus many of us had worked on the Monkey Island game series. Those games were homage to the pirate genre and to the Disneyland ride. Whereas A Vampyre Story is homage to the old gothic horror movies of the 1930’s and 1940’s. It just seemed natural that this genre could be given the same treatment as the pirate genre did in Monkey Island, the bike genre did in Full Throttle, and the time travel genre did in Day of the Tentacle.
