Just got a mail from Robert from Dragon Clan who lets us know that they have put up an interview with "Dhevrin", the Community Coordinator for NC Soft's fantasy MMORPG 'Lineage II'.
Dragon Clan: Let’s talk about Lineage 2: In your opinion, what makes this game outstanding compared to other Online Games at the market? What are the specific key elements, the other products don’t have? What can we expect when playing Lineage 2 expecially the content for high level players in mind? And how interesting is Lineage 2 for the casual players, who might not be able to level through the ranks as fast as the powergamers ? Will the casual players be able to play solo successfully although they spend less time ?

Dhevrin: First off, Lineage II is a hard core PvP game. If you cannot deal with the constant risk of life in Aden, then Lineage II might be a difficult game to swallow. Secondly, Lineage II is episodic. Most people don’t appreciate that fact enough. The storyline of Lineage II continues after the game is released in the form of Chronicles. Chronicles don’t just add features, they extend the world of Lineage II in new and exciting ways. And unlike expansion packs, Chronicles are regularly released, planned months in advance, and are freely available for download. Lastly, Lineage II takes the macro view on the MMO world. More than solo play, or even group play, the focus is on clan struggles. NCSoft places a lot of emphasis on clan wars and castle sieges, and we are looking at ways we can promote competition and reward the victors.
