The Core has re-reviewed 'EverQuest' and written up an article about the current state of the game.
EverQuest is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that was released in March of 1999. This expansive and long running game was developed by Verant Interactive and published by Sony Online Entertainment, but was originally design by Brad McQuaid, Steve Clover, and Bill Trost. Throughout the last four years, the game has gone through some changes, not only on the game design level, but also on a political and business level. Though some of the original designers have departed company with Vertant Interactive and Sony Online Entertainment, the basic concept of the game still thrives, paying customers who have an interest in the world of Norrath. But after all this time, is this a game still worth playing?
