RPGDot Game Rating Machine

The Master has rated the following games:

Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura: 9/10 points

An excellent game that didn't get the attention it deserves

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 9/10 points

An excellent game, and a change of pace from the fantasy style. This game was fun for its setting, story and the SPECIAL system. Unlike others, I found the ingame atmosphere to be missing after a while.

Jagged Alliance: 10/10 points

A wonderful game.

Jagged Alliance 2: 10/10 points

This is what a hybrid RPG should be like. An excellent strategy game in its own right, they added NPCs, a non-linear story and a lot of personality to make a wonderful game.

Jagged Alliance 2 - Unfinished Business: 9/10 points

The great sequel to JA2. Would get a ten except some RPG elements were reduced in this one.

Planescape: Torment: 10/10 points

Normally AD&D has its problems but this one had such a great story and interesting dialogue that any AD&D problems can easily be ignored. Certainly one of the best games of all time.

Pool of Radiance: 10/10 points

A classic.

Realms of Arkania 1 - Blade of Destiny: 9/10 points

An excellent first game, it spawned 2 even better sequels. The interface is fantastic, the world is believable and the story is fun.

Realms of Arkania 2 - Star Trail: 9/10 points

This game is certainly an underrated Gem. The somewhat sloppy translation and its hardcoreness propably will put off some, but they are really missing out on a wonderful game.

Realms of Arkania 3 - Shadows over Riva: 10/10 points

A true classic. It came out before the RPG revival, and got lost in the shuffle. A great game.

Ultima 4 - Quest of the Avatar: 7/10 points

Certainly a good game, but really, the later ultimas were better.

Ultima 7 - Serpent Isle (Sequel): 9/10 points

A great game, better than the black gate. They pulled off leaving brittania in this one, too bad they couldn't in 8.

Ultima Underworld 2 - Labyrinth of Worlds: 8/10 points

This was a very good game.

Wizardry 1 - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord: 10/10 points

An RPG classic. A wonderful dungeon crawl with graphics that are still bearable today. Try to play without downloaded maps or you miss half the fun.

Wizardry 6 - Bane of the Cosmic Forge: 10/10 points

I really liked this game. It had great atmosphere and a wonderful story. Some loose ends, but thos are just motivation to play wiz 7 and 8.

Wizardry 7 - Crusader of the Dark Savant: 10/10 points

An excellent roleplaying classic. Right up there with Ultima 7, Fallout and Planescape.

Wizardry 8: 10/10 points

The thrilling conclusion to the wizardry series. A must have for any RPG player.

Wizardry Gold: 9/10 points

A very good game, but the DOS verion is better. Whichever you get though, you're in for a treat.
