Neverwinter Vault has posted an interview with NWN community member and mod-maker extraordinaire, Adam Miller. The interview discusses Miller's super-pack of modules including three of his most popular campaigns. Also released are some sound files and screenshots of his next adventure, "Dark Water".
8. Would you like to discuss your NWN 2 project? It's storyline perhaps?
The story takes place on a world recovering from a great war whose survivors hang on to small islands in a great sea. The player and their friends manage to open an ancient mountain vault, unopened for countless years. There begins a journey that will lead them across the ocean to rediscover civilization and uncover secrets long thought lost.
There's a few distinct elements that should give the campaign a distinct flair. I've updated the card game from Demon and given it a distinctly pirate flair. We have a psionic system that the player uncovers through their adventures. There's a socket and gem system that allows for greater control over enchantments. We have flintlock pistols. There's treasure maps and digging up booty. We're ambitiously working on a system of ship travel, trade, and combat that I'm very excited about. There's also high adventure, diabolic puzzles, sublime romance, and horrific villains.
You can read the rest of the interview at NW Vault.
